Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Chewsi application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. About Chewsi

Chewsi is a food rescue marketplace that connects users with local restaurants and cafes selling surplus food at discounted prices. Chewsi is operated by Yuliya Sukach, Warsaw, Poland ("we", "us", "our").

3. User Accounts

• You must be 18 years or older to use Chewsi
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Contact us at hello.chewsi@gmail.com to delete your account

4. Orders and Pickup

• All orders must be placed through the App
• Orders are confirmed once payment is processed
• Food boxes must be picked up at the restaurant during the specified time window
• Chewsi is not responsible for missed pickups
• Surprise boxes contents are determined by the restaurant — specific items cannot be guaranteed

5. Payments and Refunds

• Payments are processed securely through our payment providers
• All prices are shown in the local currency
• Refunds are issued only if the restaurant cancels the order or fails to provide the box
• Chewsi takes a commission on each completed transaction

6. Restaurant Partners

• Restaurants are independent businesses responsible for food quality and safety
• Chewsi does not guarantee the content, quality, or allergens of any food box
• Users with allergies or dietary restrictions should contact the restaurant directly before ordering

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Create fake accounts or place fraudulent orders
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Resell food purchased through Chewsi

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property in the App belong to Yuliya Sukach. You may not use them without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Chewsi is not liable for:

• Food quality or safety issues caused by restaurant partners
• Losses resulting from missed pickup windows
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Indirect or consequential damages of any kind

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
